Taylor Swift on exposing her breakup

Taylor Swift is not afraid to expose her painful breakup. The truth is, she enjoys it. The song “Forever and Always” is said to be about her past relationship with Joe Jonas, one of The Jonas Brothers.

The 19-year old singer said in an interview with Seventeen magazine,

“Writing songs about people is the only way I know how to do things. I mean, I can’t wish I hadn’t written a song about someone, because if I hadn’t, that song wouldn’t exist. I just don’t find any joy in writing about things I haven’t been through.”

Taylor Swift’s fans can expect more of her emotions in her upcoming music.

“Right now, my favorite thing to write about is love. And breakups. And boys. And feelings,” she said.

Sometimes her circle of friends helps her to get through the tough times. Taylor explained,

“In Nashville, it’s Abigail [who’s mentioned in Taylor song ‘Fifteen’], and Kellie Pickler. In LA, Selena Gomez is one of my best friends. I’m also really close with Miley [Cyrus], Demi Lovato and Emma Stone.”
