Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins Split

Celebrity couple Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have broken up, SNB has learned.

The two who have been partners for 23 years split up over the summer, publicist Teal Cannady said in a statement Wednesday. She did not elaborate.

Sarandon, 63, and Robbins, 51, met in the set of the 1988 film “Bull Durham.” Tim played a hotshot pitcher while Susan was the passionate fan who simultaneously seduced him and prepared him for the big leagues.

The couple have two sons together, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17.

Sarandon stars in “The Lovely Bones,” opening worldwide next month. Robbins last appeared in 2008′s “City of Ember.”
