Simon Cowell Accused of Discrimination

Music tycoon Simon Cowell is facing lawsuit from a displeased contestant on his hit reality show  “Britain’s Got Talent”, in the midst of allegations she claimed she was discriminated against because of her health condition.

Emma Czikai, suffers from cervical spine neuritis, auditioning in front of Cowell and his panel of TV judges last year but was not able to make it through to the first round with her version of “You Raise Me Up”.

Show producers asked her to appear on the U.K. spin-off programme “Britain’s Got More Talent”, which will show previous clips of funny and unusual acts, Czikai agreed, but on the condition that they made will clarify that she suffered from an illness.

However, Czikai insists producers were unable to keep their promise when the show aired, making her appear like a “fool” and left her no choice but to file an official complaint with U.K. employment tribunal officials.

A pre-hearing review was scheduled in July.
