Ryan Reynolds will get his own X-men movie

Ryan Reynolds, who played the role of a wise-cracking mercenary known as Deadpool in “X-men Origins: Wolverine”, will be starring in his own X-Men Movie.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox and Marvel Comics are currently developing a project where Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool. The producers for this movie will be Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel Studios.

Reynolds told MTV News,

“I’ve made no secret about my desire to do a Deadpool movie, but if you’re going to do it, it would have to be 100 percent faithful to its origins. To stay as true to the source material as possible is the only way to do it, and I say that because there’s nothing more interesting than the source material for Deadpool. There’s no reason to deviate from that.”

Meanwhile, Reynolds will be seen next with Sandra Bullock in “The Proposal”, a romantic comedy movie by Disney.
