Orlando Bloom to Testify Against Teenage Burglars
Orlando Bloom will be attending the hearing in a Los Angeles court to testify against the teenage burglars who ransacked his house in the Hollywood Hills.
The actor’s home was aimed by the alleged Hollywood Burglar Bunch last year. Other celebrities like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson were all victims by the said group.
Three out of the five accused, are teenagers. They were subsequently arrested by police and are preparing to stand trial on felony burglary charges.
Alexis Neiers, one of the suspect, will face the charge when she heads to court on May 10. Neiers, 18, has admitted to be on Bloom’s property on the night of the alleged crime, but stated she had nothing to do with the burglary and has pleaded not guilty.
She will face Bloom when the trial starts as he narrates the night of the break-in. He lost over $500,000 in artwork, watches and other valuables. If convicted, Neiers is facing up to six years in prison.
Meanwhile the other defendants will stand trial separately later this year.
