Matthew Fox to quit television after Lost

Lost star Mattew Fox will be ending his television career after the sixth and final season of the show.

“I won’t be doing any more television,” Fox said in a statement.”I’ve done two six-year shows, about 300 hours of television. I’m done with that.”

The 43-year old actor will be moving back in Oregon with his wife and two kids, where he will be closer to his brothers and mother.

In an interview with US Magazine, Fox said : “I’m either going to make movies with filmmakers I want to work with or I’ll be doing something else entirely.”

Fox also starred in the 90′s tv series Party of Five, which lasted for six seasons.
