Lindsay Lohan who was sentenced to a 3-year probation after admitting to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine, two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving arrived 90 minutes late on her court meeting on Friday morning. But instead of reprimanding the 23-year old actress, Los Angeles Supreme Court Judge Marsha Revel patiently waited for Lohan and granted her request to extend her probation to 4-years.

According to Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, the actress has been busy with work that is why she was not able to complete her court-ordered substance abuse treatment program. She enumerated her client’s projects which included shooting for a new movie in Texas, working on a documentary about child trafficking in India for the BBC, promoting her Ungaro clothing line, and recording an album.

So far, Lohan has completed just 15 of 26 required individual classes, 13 of 26 group sessions and 13 of 28 self-help classes. On the otherhand, she has wrapped up all six of her alcohol-education courses. She is scheduled to return for a progress hearing Dec. 15.
