LeAnn Rimes and husband are getting divorced

After seven years of marriage, LeAnn Rimes finally confirmed that she’s getting divorced to husband Dean Sheremet. She made the announcement last Tuesday on her website.

“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage.” Rimes wrote in a message. “This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support—it is deeply appreciated.”

For months, the 26-year old country singer was rumored to be having an affair with her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian. On August 24, Cibrian filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Brandi Glanville.
