Lady Gaga to go on solo tour this November

After her joint tour with Kanye West was cancelled, Lady Gaga announced last Friday that she will be hitting the road solo. The pop singer known for her outrageous fashion sense and upbeat music posted in her twitter account “Still leaving on solo TOUR this nov”.
The joint tour, tagged as Fame Kills was supposed to start on Nov. 10 in Phoenix and was supposed to hit Anaheim on Nov. 15 and Los Angeles on Nov. 16. Cancellation was announced last Thursday by its promoter Live Nation, saying tickets will be refunded where they were purchased and those purchased online “will be refunded automatically.” The company offered no explanation as to the cause of the cancellation and speculations have now begun that it was poor sales that prompted the “killing” of the said tour. Although Lady Gaga’s official statement was that “it was a mutual decision” and that West is “going to take some time off, but I’m not.”
It can be remembered that West recently caused a scene at the MTV Video Music awards when he grabbed the microphone from teenage country singer Taylor Swift as she was doing her acceptance speech. West then appeared at The Jay Leno Show the next day to apologize and said that he is planning to take some time off.
Gaga who recently received the Rising Star honor at Billboard’s annual Women in Music event in New York, said her tour will start in mid-November, but there were no immediate details on dates and locations.
