Lady GaGa Achieves Big at 2010 World Music Awards

The “Poker Face” hitmaker scraped five gongs, including the Best Selling Artist From America.

GaGa got the World’s Best Single over David Guetta, Beyonce Knowles and Black Eyed Peas. She again beat Black Eyed Peas in World’s Best Album in addition to Susan Boyle and Taylor Swift.
Next to that, she was crowned as World’s Best Pop/Rock Artist after battling against Swift, Madonna and Rihanna.

To top of it all, her fifth trophy was collected from World’s Best New Artist. This time round, the dance queen prevented Canadian teen singer Justin Bieber, “Tik Tok” hitmaker Ke$ha and Britain’s singing sensation Boyle from grabbing the prize.

Aside from GaGa, there were musicians who also scored multiple trophies were U2 and David Guetta. Special awards were Jennifer Lopez and Scorpions who received Outstanding Contribution to the Arts and Rock Legends respectively.
