Kevin Bacon mugged in New York subway

Kevin Bacon’s Blackberry phone was snatched by a thief in a New York subway station on Thursday morning. Bacon was doing something with his Blackberry when suddenly someone took the device right out of his hands.

The 50-year old actor tried to chase down the thief at Seventh Avenue subway station but lost track of him in the crowd and the robber managed to escape.

Bacon called the help of the police after the said incident.

This isn’t the first time that Bacon was double-crossed. It was reported before that Kevin and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, were among the victims of the Ponzi scheme run by Bernie Madoff.
