Judge Issues Arrest Warrant for Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan could be arrested as early as Friday after Judge Elden Fox issued on Monday an arrest warrant for the troubled actress due to her alleged positive result in her most recent drug test.

However, Fox stayed the serving of the warrant pending the result of a hearing on Friday, where authorities will determine if Lohan has indeed violated her probation in connection to her three-year old drug case. Lohan has been ordered to attend the Friday hearing, but her reps have yet to confirm if the 24-year-old actress would show up in court. Fox had previously said that he might impose a 30-day jail sentence to Lohan for each violation of her probation. It would be known on Friday if Lohan would be headed back to the slammer.

Lohan recently served two weeks in jail followed by a 23-day inpatient rehab stint at the UCLA Medical Center. She reportedly confirmed last week through a Twitter post that she failed her most recent drug test. She also said through a tweet that she is “working hard to overcome” her substance abuse, which she described as “a disease” that “unfortunately doesn’t go away over night.”
