Jewelry Line of Miley Cyrus Pulled Out From Stores

Reportedly, Miley Cyrus’ jewelry line has been removed from shelves at U.S. superstore Walmart.

This was done after a report revealed the accessories containing high levels of a toxic metal.

The “Hannah Montana” star’s limited range for the store has proven popular with kids, but a test was executed for the Associated Press reveals more than a fewl items from the line have an dangerous level of cadmium, which can be hazardous if ingested.

However, the jewelry pieces are still safe to wear, the report notes that if they are “sucked, bitten or swallowed” the cadmium could prove toxic.

Now, the bosses at Walmart have made a decision to pull the line, which consists of bracelets and necklaces, claiming they will not sell the jewelry to the market “while we investigate its compliance with our children’s jewelry standard”.
