Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 trailer premieres

Five months before its worldwide screening Warner Bros. Pictures released the trailer of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 the 7th installment and the first of the 2-part finale of the Harry Potter franchise.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set-out on a perilous mission of retrieving and destroying all 7 Hocruxes – Lord Voldemort’s source of immortality. On his quest to defeat the Dark Lord, Harry will discover an old and almost forgotten tale – The Tale of the Three Brothers also known as The Legend of the Deathly Hallows.

The fantasy-adventure film which stars Danielle Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson is based on the best-selling novel by J.K. Rowling is said to be the “motion-picture event of a generation”. The movie is directed by David Yates who also directed the previous two installments.

Part 1 is set to be released on 19 November 2010 and Part 2 is on 15 July 2011. Both parts will be released on 2D and 3D fomats.
