Eminem’s new single breaks download record

Eminem, with assists from 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, has set a new record for highest first week download sales in the U.S.

According to NME, “Crack a Bottle” sold 418,000 downloads, surpassing the prior record of 335,000 downloads shifted last October by T.I.’s “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna.

The rapper’s comeback track now becomes the third best selling download single. It sits behind Lady GaGa’s Just Dance on 419,000 and Flo Rida’s Low on 467,000.
