Ellen Pompeo is pregnant

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting their first baby.

“They’re ecstatic”, said Jennifer Allen, Ellen and Chris’ rep.

The couple met at a grocery store in 2003, then had dated for about four years before tying the knot in 2007.

Pompeo, who plays Dr. Meredith Grey in the ABC hit series, sparked rumours of pregnancy when she was recently spotted shopping for baby items in L.A., California.
