Chris Brown sentenced 5 years probation
Chris Brown had been sentenced to five years probation plus 180 days community labor (8 hours a day – 1440hours total) in a Los Angeles court Monday. Brown will do his community service in Virginia (his hometown).
The R&B singer had pleaded guilty for one charge of assault involving intent to go great bodily harm inside a Lamborghini last February, but Brown denies all other allegations of assault.
Rihanna was also issued a “stay away” order by Los Angeles Criminal Court Judge Patricia Schnegg, which prohibited her from being within 100 yards of Brown that can be reduced to 50 yards, or 10 yards if they had an “industry event” together.
The court also ordered Brown to finish a year-long domestic violence class. If in any case Brown violates the 5-year probation, he could get up to 4 years in prison.
