Tv host and Actress Aquino is finally ending her marriage with basketball player husband James Yap.

Last week, her friend Boy Abunda released a statement on why Kris failed to show up in their gift giving project in Cebu was because of marital reasons. No words have been heard from Kris when she returned to host SNN.  However on Sunday, June 27, on an interview with Boy Abunda she finally breaks her silence. Saying that her marriage on her part is over.

She claims that she does not owe an explanation to the public, but only to her son Baby James. This is why she did not anymore delve deeper into the issue.  She managed to tell a joke by saying that she does not want her son to find out on youtube on why she and his dad broke up.

On that same day, she also bid farewell to the show and even submitted a transcript of farewell message.  To read the letter made by Kris Aquino herself, please see below.

I just didn’t want to be a burden. I didn’t want na stuff that I could say here could have a negative effect on my brother. And I didn’t feel na my personal life or my personal views should have an effect on him.

Kasi ang Wednesday is a day na aasahan nating lahat na may pagbabago, may mga magagandang mangyayari. It’s a day for the Philippines to hope again… Thank you ate for acknowledging that it is a sacrifice kasi 10 years. Ang tagal pala. Ang dami palang nangyari talaga, but I was able to let go 2 things that I felt I was good at na umabot na sa punto na in-acknowledge na ‘yong genre  na ito was ours. And readily, pinilit ko sarili ko na sabihing kaya with no assurances about what’s next.

In the same way na sinabi ko sa Ate ko na nasa-sad ako kasi may fear, natatakot ako kasi ito ang alam ko talagang gawin at ito ang alam ko na magaling ako dito sa ginagawa kong ito. And paano ko kung ‘yong next project na ibibigay nila sa akin, paano kung hindi ako kasing galing doon. But  in the same way na siguro nagtiwala ang Pilipinas kay Noy kasi nakita nila he was sincere in his desire to make this a better country and not have personal gain from this. Ganoon din siguro ang naging decision ko na binigay mo na ang lahat eh, alangan naman may part pa na, ‘Hindi ibigay ninyo sa akin ito.’ So, binigay na lang lahat.

It’s really been a learning experience. Siguro kung nakita ninyo ang VTR na yan, from 29 to 39, parang malaki na rin siguro ang nabago sa buhay ko. Malaking nabago sa mga pananaw ko and malaki ang nabago sa core kasi tumibigay.

Gusto ko lang kayong pasalamatan lahat kasi alalang-alala ko pa nasabi ko kay Noy na, ‘What if you lose? What happens to all of us?’ And then sinabi niya, ‘Nobody goes into a battle thinking they’re going to [win].’ And binayayaan nga siya ng napakalaking tiwala.

Ako naman po nabiyayaan ninyo ako ng, for any television personality, you gave me the greatest gift. You gave me the time. You gave me your trust. You let me be myself and accepted me for me.

Sa management ng ABS-CBN, it will be 14 years. Thank you for letting me grow. Thank you for believing in me…. ‘Yong dressing room 3, Studio 5 pag Sunday, naging buhay na natin ‘yon. Thank you for keeping my confidences.

Sabi ni Ate, ‘Huwag kang iiyak kasi kung ano ano na naman ang sasabihin ng mga tao.’ Pero pagbigyan ninyo na po ako kasi ang hirap naman po talagang magpaalam. But it has been a really wonderful 10 years.

And I’m really proud that in those 10 years… along with me in this journey, lahat ng mga nakatrabaho ko umangat din naman ang mga buhay ninyo. (Laughs) Siguro, naging mabuti naman tayo sa isa’t isa.

Thank you Tita Cory (Vidanes, ABS-CBN channel head). Thank you Deo (Endrinal, business unit head) for being with me on this day. But most of all, thank you Boy (Abunda) kasi binigay mo na sa akin lahat, ang buong pagkatao mo, ‘yong buong tiwala mo, all the love I could ever need. Thank you for always being ready to defend me and understand me.

You became Boy, I became Kris during this journey. And the partnership we had, siguro wala namang makaka-question, we had one of the best marriages on TV. (Laughs)

I will miss this and I will miss you. The role I have for you is so great so gusto ko lang pong sabihin sa inyong lahat na I’m gonna go happy. Kasi ang konti konti ng nandito sa industriya namin  na nabibigyan ng pagkataon na magpaalam na their show is still on top and they’re still considered a prized possession of the network. It’s a rare blessing.  It was always what mom prayed for me. Sabi ng mom, ‘Kristina sana hindi umabot sa point na laos ka at sana nakapag-ipon ka na ng enough para kung anuman ang mangyari, okay kayo.’

So, mom, everything happens siguro and as part of God’s will and I accept that . I know mom na this whole day you were here and you know kasi pag sad ako ikaw ‘yong unang may alam so alam ko rin na bibigyan mo ako ng lakas.

To everybody here, who knows, 6 years from now, with science, baka maganda pa naman ako. (Laughs).At hindi pa ako kulubot baka puwede pa akong bumalik sa “The Buzz.” Or baka 6 years from now, ako na ang nagswe-swearing in. (Laughs).

Actress Katrina Halili failed to give details of the hotel room prompting the defense to request for an ocular inspection at the Holiday Inn where the alleged sex video was taken.

The defense said a careful inspection of the room can prove if Katrina was telling the truth when she insisted that she wasn’t aware that Kho was already videotaping their sexual intercourse in 2007.

The ocular inspection is set on June 15.

For Halili, it would be too much for her to revive the past. She said it is so hard for her to give out details, like how big was the room  and how far etc.

The defense also requested for the results of Halili’s psychological test conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) when the sex video scandal broke out in 2009.

“This is a case of domestic violence…. Their ground for domestic violence is psychological and the expert here is the NBI who examined her. And the NBI said the cause of the psychological distress  is not the sex video… [but] an event that happened within the 3 months from her examination. What event is that? That is the release of the sex video,” Kapunan,Hayden’s lawyer said.

Kapunan said Halili herself said that Kho is not responsible for the release of the sex tapes.

Kho, who claimed that he is also a victim,  said those responsible for the release of the videos should be held in question, and not him.

Halili’s lawyer, Raymund Palad, countered: “The sex video was taken without her knowledge and consent.” He also added that what a person don’t know, won’t hurt  him or her.

Actor John Lloyd Cruz clarifies the issue that he is not living in  with Shaina Magdayao.

Reportedly, the rumored pair are to be in a romantic relationship.

In an interview with a publication owned by his mother network, John Lloyd Cruz firmly denied that he and Shaina Magdayao are on a live-in status.

“Hindi totoo ‘yun. Hindi papayag ang mga magulang niya at hindi rin kami papayag dahil wala kami sa tamang posisyon,” John Lloyd Cruz said.

However when the actor was asked about what’s the real status between him and Shaina, his answer was really interesting.

He said :

“Alam ko lahat ng tanong kaya kong sagutin. Pero ang sinasabi ko lang there is a proper timing for everything. Syempre it concerns both of us. So kailangan pa naming pag-usapan how we wanna go about it.”

Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho happened to be one of the studio audience, when they  were caught on camera as the show’s host sat beside Belo to interview , sporting a red spaghetti strap dress, while Kho was wearing a coat and tie.

Despite the fact that the rumored couple have been spotted many times in various places, yet they refuse to confirm regarding reconciliation.

Revillame decided to take hiatus from ABS-CBN by submitting a letter addressed to the big bosses of the network.

Ricky Lo, writer and columnist of The Philippine Star featured Willie along with his letter. The source of the letter was not revealed by the columnist for privacy purposes.

Dear Sir Gabby and Ma’am Charo,

I have labored over the past week on what to do in the face of another setback in my relations with the management of the network. ABS-CBN has been my home for the last five years and five months and it has given me the greatest gift – the opportunity to reach out to people who have so little in life.

In the process, I have come to realize that my gratitude to the network would be more meaningful if I considered the impact of my recent actions which has placed the station in a bad light. This is among the reasons, as I will explain in this letter, that I humbly request the management, to release me as a talent of the network. (Willie’s contract is good for one year and a half more. — RFL)

It is no secret that the program “Wowowee,” for almost five and a half years, has been the core of my existence. The program gives me a sense of purpose because I make people happy and I give them hope that, despite their difficulties, they can make things happen for themselves. Because of this, my world has revolved around the show. The desire to make it the best noontime show, has consumed my waking hours, as I conceptualize its format and contents from Monday to Saturday. Apart from this, I want the show to give the network excellent ratings to maintain its reputation as the leader in the broadcasting industry.

My devotion to the show is unparalleled that I have even been besieged by health problems due to the long hours I spend daily, thinking of how to bring “Wowowee” closer to the public. In fact, I have developed a heart blockage, which has already once posed a real threat to my life. I have sacrificed so much. Now, I have to accept the reality that I also have to take good care of my health.

Hence, it is very painful to hear every time my show is the target of unwanted and unnecessary tirades. I do not think that these people even have the slightest clue of what I go through to put together a show like “Wowowee”’. The show is not for me, but for those people who dream of a better life. Is it too much to ask that we be respected for what we do? Is it too much to ask that we be defended from such attacks?

My outburst last week during the live presentation of the show is nothing more than a reflection of my frustration over these things, and was not at all meant to disrespect the network and its management. I implore you to understand that several incidents, which were beyond my control which have marred the reputation of the show to some extent, have already taken their toll on me.

There was the “Wilyonaryo” incident wherein we were accused of deceiving contestants about their winnings; the Ultra stampede wherein I was blamed and severely criticized; the misunderstanding about my remarks when the coverage of the funeral of the late Pres. Corazon Aquino was unexpectedly shown in the giling-giling portion of “Wowowee”’s airing, for which I have apologized. In all these incidents, I took responsibility even if I was not at fault.

I do not want to cause any further embarrassment to the network. I know that all these have caused so much strain on our relations and I would like to save the situation by asking that I be released as a talent of the station. This way, I will have the much-needed space and time to contemplate on my direction in life and, at the same time, maintain the relationships I have built within the network, which are all worth preserving.

Before I end this letter, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the important people I have had the good fortune to work with during the years I have been with ABS-CBN. Ma’am Charo, maraming salamat sa lahat ng pagkakataon na naibigay ninyo sa akin. Kayo po ang tinuturing kong ina na patuloy akong tinatanggap at minamahal sa kabila ng lahat ng aking kahinaan. Hinding-hindi ko po kayo makakalimutan at lahat ng mga bagay na ginawa ninyo para sa akin.

Most talked about “Wowowee” host Willie Revillame has reached out to his supporters for understanding as he remains to reflect his next move when it comes to his career in showbiz.

Earlier, Revillame, who made the “I’ll quit” threat on his show, confessed that he is still thinking whether he should come back hosting “Wowowee.”

Revillame assured that the public will know his decision.

He said that no matter what happens, he will made his decision public given  the right time.  He added that whatever decision he will make, he is hoping for understanding.

He also appealed that he has to do this because he is now in the middle of something that needs to be dealt with.  He claims that he wants to figure what he really wants and to be happy doing it.

He said that he does not miss the program, but misses the people awaits for his return.

Revillame, avoided to discuss issues concerning Jobert Sucaldito. He said he will focus instead on helping his fellow citizens and making other people happy.

In an interview with Kris Aquino by  “Failon Ngayon”  hosted by Ted Failon himself, she bravely answers all the negative issues about her supposed promise to leave te country once Senator Benigno Aquino wins the presidential race.

She said that the people failed to listen to what she was trying to convey. She claims that she said  it happened during the fiasco with Ruffa Gutierrez. In her statement she promised that as soon as he brother gets to be elected, she will go willingly together with her family to other country so as not to bother her brother.

The queen of talk could not help but feel sad because it seems that people are excited to see her leave despite the fact her brother was not even yet proclaimed as the president of the Philippines.

The actress/host said that her brother told her that whatever success he is in right now, he owes it to her and the rest of their siblings, because of this he promised that he will not let anyone or anything hurt them.

On the other hand, Kris still has so many supporters encouraging her to do what she thinks is best. Apparently, Kris had her vacation, in fact she just got back from Japan.

Wonder where the “Wowowee” main man is right now?

Willie Revillame is caught in another intrigue involving him and Jobert Sucaldito.  Following his threat to ABS-CBN to fire Sucaldito, Revillame did not report  several days now from his popular noontime show.

Many speculated that Willie is out of the country.  Report says that the host is indeed out of the country.

He had flown to Macau after taking an indefinite leave from his show.  Reason is still unknown why he’s there.

Meanwhile,  just recently,ABS-CBN announced that there will be a special guest host on “Wowowee” this Saturday.   The surprise host was not named, but the network gave a clue saying that an “Idol ” will come to the show.

That clue gave rise to speculation that it’s Robin Padilla.
