Cast of Jersey Shore Gets Equal Payment for Season 2
It’s been confirmed that all the existing cast members of the hit reality series on MTV, Jersey Shore, will be back for the show’s second season with each of them getting equal payments per episode of the show. Apparently, it is important for MTV to avoid infighting among the cast regarding the issue of money, so the TV network agreed to give them same payments.
It has been reported that one of its members, Vinnie, took the $10,000 per episode deal, so I guess it is safe to assume that’s how much each of them will be paid for this season. It can be remembered that the same deal was done by cast of the long-running show Friends, where they insisted to be paid equally or no one gets paid at all.
Jersey Shore season 2 will start by mid-late summer with 12 new episodes. It follows the story of eight housemates spending their summer on the New Jersey Shore.
