Chris Brown apologizes for Rihanna assault

Four weeks after pleading guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a February incident, Chris Brown has issued his first public apology in two-minute video posted on YouTube.

“I felt it was time you heard it directly from me that I’m sorry. I wish I could live those few moments again but I can’t…most importantly I won’t make any excuses,” he said.
