Bret Michaels injured at Tony Awards

Bret Michaels suffered a nose fracture and a busted lip after being hit by a set piece following his performance “Nothin’ But a Good Time”. Michaels had his X-rays taken and required three stitches in his lip.
Publicist Joann Mignano says Michaels was pretty bruised up but he was “in good spirits”.
The rock star performed a musical number at the 63rd annual Tony Awards. The number starred Dolly Parton, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, the casts of West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Pal Joey, Shrek, 9 to 5: The Musical, Next to Normal, Rock of Ages and Billy Elliot.
