Danny Gokey is out!

Danny Gokey, the 29-year-old church music director from Milwaukee, wound up on the short end of 88 million votes Wednesday night, which eliminated him from the competition.

Next week it will be the final performances of Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. After Wednesday’s show, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert flipped a coin to decide position in next week’s much-anticipated sing-off. Kris won the toss — and Adam will sing first.
