Allison Iraheta signs a record deal
Allison Iraheta, who finished fourth in this season’s American Idol, signed a record deal with 19 Recordings and Jive Records. Her debut album will be released this fall.
“I think I’m still in shock that this is happening,” Iraheta said in a statement. “Getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!”
American Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert also signed record deals earlier this month with 19 Recordings and Jive Records.

I love Allison! I knew she'd get a deal even if she lost the contest. In the end, I think she's better off, too, because many Idol losers ended up becoming more successful than the winners themselves. I came across this gallery of all the past “losers.” http://tinyurl.com/idolloserphotos Honestly, I remember these guys more than the winners anyway!
